Bengt Tuner, Chief Executive Officer
Bengt Tuner was Vice President of UTI Worldwide in Scandinavia and at the same time CEO of UTI Logistics AB in Sweden. Most recently he was Head of Business Development EMEA at Schenker High Tech Logistics GmbH in Frankfurt. In September 2009, Bengt Tuner joined Locanis as CSO and member of the management board, where, since 1 January 2010, he has held the position of CEO of the company.
Susanne Kassler, Head of Administration and Finance
Susnne Kassler has been with our company since 2004 as a financial accountant. Prior to this she had acquired seven years of professional experience in this field with a company in Berlin. On 1 January 2010, in addition to her previous duties, she joined the management team as Head of Administration and Finance.
Joachim Riegg, Head of Operations
Joachim Riegg used to be a test equipment developer at Rohde & Schwarz Systemtechnik in Memmingen. Then he moved into product and project management at Rohde & Schwarz in Munich. From 2001 he was chief project manager for international projects. In September 2004 he moved to Locanis AG where he took charge of project management. Joachim Riegg’s team is responsible for system implementation and project realisation of the Locanis systems.
Jan Sembach, Head of Software Development
Mathemathical engineer Jan Sembach has been with the company since 1998. Initially a systems engineer, in 2001 he took on the project management for the first successful G-Track project. Then, from 2003 he headed the software development team for Locanis’s forklift guidance system G-Control. Jan Sembach has been in charge of all software development at Locanis since 2005.
Jochen Irmer, Head of Hardware Development / New Technologies and Patents
Dipl.-Ing. Jochen Irmer has been with the company since 1985, as one of its founders. As the inventor of G-Track and head of Hardware / New Technologies and Patents he is responsible for technological implementation, development and research at Locanis.
Peter Mehler, Head of Sales & Marketing
Before Peter Mehler joined Locanis AG he worked as a Key Account Manager / Product Manager in the field of high-tech transportation and freight at UPS-SCS GmbH & Co. OHG in Nürnberg, Germany. Before that he was divisional manager of national and international transportation at UNI-DATA AG / UPS-SCS GmbH Co. OHG. In Nov 2009 Peter Mehler joined Locanis AG as Business Unit Manager Sales and was appointed Head of Sales & Marketing on June 1st.
