Most of today's solutions are based on scanning: “The more you scan the more control you have”, is the conventional wisdom. The problem is that you do not control the person who scans, when he scans and if he scans. Even with a lot of scanning you might get 20% "control," but the other 80% you are still running around in the darkness and cannot evaluate what is going on. You have to trust what you hear. The disadvantage is that every scan costs time, resources and in the end, money.
In other processes where you do not have any scans, the darkness is almost 100%—you have no tool to evaluate either individual or group performance.
IntelliGence transparency is based on the fact that all activities in the warehouse, indoor and outdoor, are controlled by a GPS-based solution under Locanis's worldwide patent. You don’t need to scan any more than is absolutely required—usually just once, when goods arrive in the warehouse—and all activities in the warehouse are 100% visible in real-time. You have 100% correct data in real-time to evaluate what decisions need to be taken and what to do with your inventory.
