Major order for Locanis
ALPLA-Werke Alwin Lehner in Hard am Bodensee, Austria has commissioned Locanis AG with the introduction of their worldwide patented goods tracking system G-TRACK® at two locations in Germany. Following this pilot commission, the introduction of G-TRACK® at two further locations is planned. The WMS-S warehouse management system developed by Locanis partners Inconso is being introduced at the same time. ALPLA is a world leader in the realisation of packaging solutions in plastic. Innovative solutions tailored to customers’ requirements are developed and produced at 122 locations in 37 countries. With this project, ALPLA is implementing its own requirements in terms of logistics, as well as those of its customers. “ALPLA is a global player. ALPLA is the third large customer in 2009 to commission Locanis AG to implement optimisation of their intralogistics processes”.
